The weekend is upon us, which can only mean hitting the snooze button and brunching at your favorite spot.
I love to start to my easy Sunday mornings by slipping into something comfortable and suiting for the sunny Los Angeles weather and catch up with friends over brunch. Brunch is quite ideal isn’t- it falls in the perfect time frame where you can slowly roll out of bed or go for a refreshing morning hike and still catch the medium of breakfast & lunch. Last weekend, my friend, Tati and I dined at Faith & Flower to preview the launch of their new brunch menu. My taste buds were tingling and I was thoroughly impressed by each dish. For beginners, the space in itself is lust worthy. You walk in to high ceilings with warm hues and a facade of white curtains and windows to one side. The space is accented with green chalice-like cups. Safe to say I was already smitten with this place at this point.
Now onto the food, Tati and I ordered 4 dishes between the 2 of us (our eyes are always bigger than our stomachs- but your girls can take it down). They were the top recommendations and we got the Smoked Trout Benedict, Bourbon Pancakes, Kimchee Cornbread, & the Prime Beef Picadillo. It was every bit as good as it sounds. I also ordered a orange-infused latte & it was one of favorites. If you must know something about me, I have a separate set of funds for my latte addiction.
